I think a lot about the workings of nature and it's likeness to the human spirit. Do you think the caterpillar knows what it will become when it has the strength to leave the cocoon? Does it take courage to embrace transformation or is it simply natural instinct? And what could we become, should we trust the process, the changes and metamorphosis in our life?

When I look at this piece, I see a transformation and revelation. A new form breaking free.
