This beautifully flawed piece of African Mninga was salvaged from local furniture makers here in Paje, Zanzibar. To me, it represents a burning inner flame of passion and desire.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the risks and rewards of following your inner calling. In a world full of distractions, telling you what you should and shouldn't do or be, it’s an accomplishment just to know what you truly want and to follow it. Stepping out of the norm and into the unknown, following what lights a fire in you, scares you, and excites you, taking a risk and going all in with nothing but your inner flame and passion to guide you.
